In September 2023, Palermo, Italy hosted a crucial two-day meeting where international partners gathered to discuss and plan the future of a collaborative project. This meeting was pivotal in advancing the cause of the ESCAPE project.
During the meeting, partners engaged in intensive brainstorming sessions, reviewing project materials, and outlining future steps. Each participant contributed their unique expertise, fostering an atmosphere of innovation and cooperation.
In addition to discussions, partners took the opportunity to explore Palermo’s cultural heritage, including a visit to the Museo Falcone-Borsellino. This museum pays tribute to the Fondazione Progetto Legalità, established in 2005 to honour victims of organized crime and promote legal education.
The Foundation’s efforts have led to increased school participation, demonstrating the value of its programs in nurturing socially conscious citizens. As partners departed Palermo, they were united in their commitment to advancing legal education and promoting a more just society globally.
