The 2nd work package of the ESCAPE project includes field studies. The most important part of these field studies is to conduct a survey with experts in the field.
Within the scope of the project, a meeting was held in Türkiye between 05.05.2023-12.05.2023 in the meeting hall of Kocaeli Open Penal Execution Institution and on 16.05.2023 in the meeting halls of Kocaeli Directorate of Probation.
Face-to-face interviews were conducted with approximately 50 experts for the survey application. And first of all, general information was given about the content of the ESCAPE project and what it aims to achieve. After the contributions of the survey to the project were explained in detail to the expert participants, the application started.
In this study, the survey application of the ESCAPE project was carried out with the participation of experts consisting of Institution Teachers, Religious Officers (Spiritual Guidance Unit), Sociologists, Psychologists and Social Workers involved in the improvement activities.
As a result of the survey, many important data were obtained. These data were reported for the development of the project as a result of the long work done by the project staff. This data will be used in other work packages of the project and as a result, an excellent scientifically based spiritual counseling will be created.
