The final Work package of the ESCAPE project is dedicated to the Quality Assurance of both the project implementation phases and the produced results.
The results of WP6 were achieved through structured methodologies and collaborative efforts among all project partners. The Quality Assurance (QA) work package played a pivotal role in ensuring that all project activities and outcomes met high standards of quality, thereby contributing to the successful achievement of the project objectives.
QA Plan: IKIGAI developed and implemented a comprehensive Quality Assurance Plan in the first phase of the project. The plan provided an ongoing QA procedure, ensuring that the project’s quality measures were consistently applied and evaluated.
Monitoring and Data Collection: A combination of quantitative and qualitative indicators was used to ensure a comprehensive evaluation. These indicators have been in line with the identified indicators for each WP in the application form. IKIGAI administered questionnaires during interim phases and after each key event. These questionnaires assessed various aspects of the project, including the quality of collaboration among partners, the success of scope management, and the effectiveness of the risk management strategy.
Communication: Regular meetings, including online and f2f transnational meetings, facilitated the exchange of ideas and discussions for an enhanced quality assurance process. The collaborative nature of these meetings ensured that all partners were aligned with the QA objectives and contributed to the project’s overall success.
Impact: The QA process ensured that all activities aligned with the project goals, risks were mitigated promptly, and outputs met high standards. The validation of the quality of ESCAPE’s methodology in prison education and spiritual counseling was a key achievement. The QA process also led to the refinement of methodologies and processes based on emerging project needs, ensuring alignment with real-time project developments.
